In case you were wondering…
COMPASS is a musical journey created by Chasing Ebenezer, a world folk-rock band based in Portland, OR. For the band’s second full-length studio album, fans can expect Chasing Ebenezer’s signature array of instruments, including bohemian violin, slide guitar, hammer dulcimer, banjo, and mandolin.
The project’s nomadic content ranges from haunting instrumentals, Celtic ballads, and folk songs inspired by African, Latin, and reggae beats. Tracks like Heaven’s Land and Enemy incorporate themes of justice and forgiveness. Listeners are invited to explore their own unique journey and imagine what life could be. “What if?”
